My son is 13 can he study 10th class /standard in Andhra Pradesh?

My son is 13 yrs old and entered in 9th Class in Maharashtra State Syllabus. Can he write 10th Standard exam in Andhra Pradesh. Or should we continue him again in 9th for age purpose. What we have to do.
