E-mail message recovery?

I was typing an e-mail and accidentally highlighted and erased everything, how can I recover it? The message automatically saved after wards and now all I have left are a few lines that weren't highlighted and deleted. Is there a way to retrieve what I typed or is there a back-up, ghost file, or template somewhere?
