Wife refuses to help take care of our 8 month old?

Definitely sounds like PPD. That's a tough situation to be in. Read up on it and see how to handle the situation. My opinion is she needs to talk to a professional and get some help. This behavior is not good. The longer it goes on without any help is not going to help either one of you. Plus the baby needs attention from mommy. I feel for you. This is tough. Good luck and hope you can get her some help. It won't go away on its own. Having said this I know it is not going to be easy. Hang in there.
