Why can a wire rotating around a magnetic field produce an electric current?

Guys i plead that you go absolutely nuts when answering this question, yes I understand that it was one of Maxwell's laws but no one has told me anything more than "Because Maxwell said so" and i really don't want to answer a question with the previous statement =P It probably isn't part of the HSC syllabus but if you can explain it (no matter how impossible it is to understand) il take the time to comprahend it. Thanks guys =)
