Where can I find "^" on a scientific calculator? IT'S NOT THERE...?

You're right... it's not on mine either. See if y to the x power key might be what you are wanting to do. Also, each calculator usually comes with a laminated card which explains certain operations... you might check it to see if that symbol is used. Back in the old days, the ^ was used to indicate that an exponent was being used since typewriters could not show base numbers with exponents (no key existed for it).
