Retrieve unreceived messages?

I went to a summer camp for 2 weeks where they take up your phone when you get there. When i got it back it was dead, so i charged it and it said i had no new messages but i know for a fact that i got messages, because my sister showed me that she had texted me and it would be very unlikely that no one else texted me for two weeks. Is there any way that i can receive these lost messages???
