Lock for a treasure chest?

Hello Ive been wanting to make a chest that can lock but whenever I look up how to make a lock I just see guides for learning lock picking can someone please tell me how to make a lock and a key to go with it? (I think that type of lock is called a tumbler lock or something like that...)
